Thinking Heads of Timed Obsolescence

This is part of a series of paintings reflecting upon the persistence of ideological radicalism throughout history.

As I was working on those images I was reflecting about the nature of the strangeness of being an alien in a different place.  So in that sense, it has to do with rejection of an alien thinking body geographically displaced.  You could correlate that with any kind of intolerance, such as political, religious or racial.  It has to do with those specific ideals and intolerance in general.  And unfortunately we are witnessing a global rise of this set of ideals and the concerns and reflections they bring. So in a sense those distorted images of people, express those feelings and posture.

They are thinking heads. I do not place them as a victim or oppressor; they are thinking heads to a specific felling and time.
